The term "SHEPHERD’S ROD" derives from the passage of scripture in Ezekiel 20:37 which states, "I will take note of you as you pass under my rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant." (NIV)

This verse symbolically depicts a shepherd holding forth his rod as the sheep pass under it. Before his watchful eye, the shepherd evaluates and closely observes each one. Also, we see this pictured in Leviticus 27:32: "And concerning the tithes of the herd or the flock, of whatever passes under the rod, the tenth one shall be holy to the Lord." Every true believer is known as the sheep of HIS pasture. We, too, have a spiritual evaluation on the Day of Atonement. The Lord Jesus is the Good Shepherd. He watches over His sheep and longs to lead us into green pastures. This speaks of a place of protection, provision, rest and refreshment. The reason for writing this prophetic report is to help you understand more about the times we are living in. I want to share with you what I feel the Lord has revealed to me. This is in no way a comprehensive or extensive prophetic perspective. My heart's desire is to create a deep hunger in your heart to seek after the Lord. The scriptures remind us of the fact that, "we prophesy in part because we only see in part." Never, for a moment, follow just one prophetic ministry. We desperately need to hear what the Spirit of Truth is saying to the whole body of Christ. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to see and your ears to hear what the Spirit is saying and doing during these days of revelation. I do believe that we will see a radical revolution that will redefine how the modern day Church defines Christianity. We are in need of understanding the times as never before. Our world is changing and we must have the mind of Christ. These are days when the Holy Spirit will release fresh "discernment" on a level we have not witnessed before! God bless you as you seek HIM.

This is a prophetic perspective for these "apocalyptic" days we live in. The Church must be "awakened" in order to be "attuned to these apocalyptic times." The definition of the word "attuned" according to Webster is: "To bring into spiritual harmony" and to be "fitted for a purpose." The meaning of "apocalyptic" deals with a time of unveiling of hidden things. We are living in a time of unprecedented revelatory releasing from the Spirit of God. This anointing will be on a level we have not seen before. The Body of Christ must be equipped to deal with these rapidly approaching end times. The scripture warns us concerning these chaotic days in Matthew 24. Jesus said, "Except these days be shortened no flesh would be saved."

The main theme will be, "THE LORD IS GOOD." The verse for 1999 will be Nahum 1:7: "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and he knoweth them that trust in HIM!" The Prophet’s name - Nahum - will give insight into what the Spirit of God desires to do. His name means "comfort" or "conciliation." Even in a time of judgment, we will see the tender mercy of God. We must never forget that with a love deeper than we could ever imagine, the Lord loves His people and He only wants what is the very best for each one of us. Paul, in Romans 8:31, gives us insight into the extent of God’s love for us. "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" It is imperative that we get this deep down into our spirit: "God is good; and He does good!"

Recorded in the Gospel of Mark, there is an encounter with a terrible storm that the disciples of Jesus faced. We can gain much insight from their experience. Jesus gave them these instructions: "Get in the boat; we are going to cross over the lake to the other side." A horrible storm occurred as they crossed the lake. Their hearts were so terrified by what they saw that they forgot the words that Jesus had spoken to them. They forgot about His power and authority over creation. They were even at the point of accusing Jesus of not caring. We must have our hearts fixed upon the words of Jesus so that when the storm winds are howling, we are not moved by what we see, but we trust in what we have heard Him say. Our hearts must steadfastly hold onto the promises of God’s Word.

Lamentations 3:24-25: "I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him." The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him." (NIV)

Some highlights of this year’s Shepherd’s Rod will be found in Psalm 99. I was taught by my prophetic friend, Bob Jones, that many times the Lord will speak to him out of the Psalm that has the same number as the year number. The Lord did speak to me and confirmed this saying, "Psalm 99 would indeed be a very important passage for this year of 1999." This Psalm deals with the Royal Reign of God. It will benefit us to read this Psalm in more than one translation. This will help us better understand what the Lord is speaking to us.

"The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved. The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people. Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy. The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob. Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy. Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them. He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them. Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions. Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy."

Please carefully read this prophetic Psalm. This Psalm is dealing with the power of God. Our world is about to come to the realization that Almighty God is upon HIS THRONE! "The Lord reigns,¼" Notice that this is a proclamation. There is absolutely no doubt about it - THE LORD RULES! Man has mocked and rejected the fact that God rules, but now we are about to experience the judgment of God. Next, notice that this will produce in the people a deep, reverential fear. The fear of the Lord is not a bad thing. The scriptures declare: "And he said the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding." (Job 28:28) Again we read: "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of real wisdom." (Proverbs 9:10) This Godly fear will produce a trembling. The scripture informs us that it is to these people that the Lord will look - to the people who truly fear HIM and tremble at His word. Vs.1: "Let the peoples tremble with reverential fear! The Spirit of God is about to release an awesome fear of the Lord into the hearts of the Saints of God. In Revelation 15:4 we read: "Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou only art holy; for all nations shall come and worship before thee, for thy judgments are made manifest." A man of true wisdom states: "let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; Fear God, keep his commandments; for this the whole duty of man." (Ecclesiastes 12:13) Returning to Psalm 99:1: "He sits enthroned above the cherubim, let the earth quake!" The Lord is above all, the host of heaven worship HIM. The very earth itself quakes at his presence. "The Lord is great in Zion, and He is high above all the peoples. Let them confess and praise Your great name, awesome and reverence inspiring! It is holy, and holy is He!" The body of Christ would benefit from a study of the names of God. If we study His names we will understand more about His nature. One of the names of God is El Shaddai, which means: "the God that is more than enough!" Another name of God is JEHOVAH. This name is used over six thousand times in the Bible. The name JEHOVAH speaks of God’s mighty power and it identifies HIM as "The Self-Existent One!" We will soon discover that the name of the Lord is a strong tower and we can take refuge in what He has promised. (See Psalms 9:9-10 & Proverbs 18:10)

Vs.4-6: "The strength of the king who loves righteousness and equity You establish in uprightness. You execute justice and righteousness in Jacob (Israel). Extol the Lord our God and worship at His footstool! Holy is He! Moses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel was among those who called upon His name: they called upon the Lord, and He answered them." God is a prayer-answering God. He will reveal many things to us if we only take time to call upon His name. (See Jeremiah 33:3) It is important to remember the words of Jesus as He reminds us that God answers prayer. (See John 16:24 & Mark 11:22-24) Also, take time to study these promises of answered prayer found in 1 John 5:14 & John 15:7.

Vs. 7-9: "He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud: they kept His testimonies and the statutes that He gave them. You answered them, O Lord our God. You were a forgiving God to them, although avenging their evildoing and wicked practices. Extol the Lord our God and worship at His holy hill, for the Lord our God is holy!"

I will give a brief statement of what was spoken to me. Later, I will share many more details concerning the prophetic insights and how they will affect our lives. The Body of Christ will be Shaken Awake by the Prophetic Voice. Ezekiel 37:7: "So I prophesied as I was commanded. - And there came a shaking..."

They have been fearful and running away from the message and ministry. It is sad to see
that the wicked are waking the sleeping prophets and challenging them to seek their God.

This year the ax of God’s judgment will be laid to the root of the world’s financial markets. Wall Street will become Wailing Street. Real money will be as counterfeit: it will not have any real substance or value. He said to remind the rich of the warning in James 5:1-5: "Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries which are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments have become moth-eaten. Your gold and your silver have rusted; and their rust will be a witness against you and will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have stored up your treasure! Behold, the pay of the laborers who mowed your fields, {and} which has been withheld by you, cries out {against you} and the outcry of those who did the harvesting has reached the ears of the Lord of Sabbath. You have lived luxuriously on the earth and led a life of wanton pleasure; you have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter." (NAS)

We will see phobia and extreme fear on a level of terror and horror never experienced. Faith or fear will rule your heart. Our generation has never faced such a change as what is coming. Many hearts will fail for fear of what is coming upon them. Luke 21:26: "men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken."

This coming anointing will enable them to release shocking wisdom and revelation. We must seek to become childlike in order to be able to see and enter the Kingdom of God. Matthew 21:16: "And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?"

There will be hysteria and paralyzing panic on a level we have never faced. There will not be enough medication to comfort these fearful hearts. People will be dismayed over the things coming upon the earth. The only hope of peace is to keep your mind and heart stayed, firmly focused, upon Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. Isaiah 26:3-4: "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, is everlasting strength."

These coming judgments will release a more severe affliction than previously has been seen by our generation. These epidemics will be worldwide. The Jordan River, which is a type of death, always overflows its banks at harvest time. We have come to the end of the age, the reaping of the harvest of both good and evil. A very powerful flesh-eating fungi and bacteria is coming. This is something the medical profession has never seen. The body of Christ must move into the healing anointing. Jesus said that in His name we would lay hands on the sick and they would be healed. (See Mark 16:11-20) It is time the Body of Christ walks in the power of the Holy Spirit to heal. We must discover the truth of Luke 1:37. It is time for us to obey the instructions found in James 5:13-16

Seismic activity will cause the sunshine to be shaded or darkened in different parts of the world. A gray cloud will arise hiding the sun’s light. Ash will darken the sky. This is the result of mountains exploding and rocks falling from the sky. This will be a time of volcanic activity that is more extreme than ever previously witnessed. The earth will quake, and shake. 1999 is the year that the earth’s shaking begins. Matthew 24:29: "Immediately after the distress of these days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give it’s light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken." (NIV)

The war of words will begin to break out into real war. Weapons of death and mass destruction are armed and ready to fire. Intercession can disarm these. This is not just some people rattling swords - this is for real. Some nations are planning a "holy war" which is a demonic "unholy war." This is not an idle threat.

There is a rise in the interest of vampires - they were revealed as: "Bloodsuckers." This will be a strong demonic delusion. I saw almost a subculture of people involved in this type of demonic activity. They were drinking blood and fantasizing about gaining a false immortality (false eternal life). The demonic will release an all out attack on the hearts and minds of very young children. We must teach our children to fear the Lord. Proverbs 9:10: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." (NIV)

The sea will become sicker. I saw the Fish affected by what was described as mercury vapor - a slime or bacteria on the fish. This deals with a contamination of evangelism. If this slime comes in contact with a man’s eyes it produces a problem with his focus and a distortion of his vision. Somehow this deals with the contamination of the true gospel message. If Paul could warn us of this in his day, how much more should we be warned today? Notice his warning found in 2 Corinthians 11:4: "For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough." (NIV) (Also, see Galatians 1:8-9) One of the signs of the end-time will be many false Christ's coming forth. There will be a strong delusion concerning true salvation. (See Matthew 24:1-32)

Russia was hanging on a broken limb like over-ripe fruit and it fell to the earth and out spilled the seeds of communism. It fell into the fertile soil of discontentment. These bitter weeds will spring up and grow very, very fast. This old "Bear" is not as weak as America thinks.

I saw shock waves in the waters off the coast of Japan. The waters will be very troubled. I feel this will deal with the financial upheaval that is more than just "storms at sea." The Asian stock markets will crumble and fall. This will release a shock wave reaching all the way to Wall Street.

There will be trouble around the Black Sea. From the depths will come uprisings springing from unresolved wounds and they will be coming to the surface in this area. This region will see preparations for conflicts. Nations will rise up against nations. (See Matthew 24:7-8)

America will experience terror and terrorism within our borders. There is a real danger of terrorist activities against our water systems. The threat from biological weapons is real. The Church must pray and intercede seeking wisdom to know how to disarm these plans and plots. This is not a time to be, "at ease in Zion."

Death winds are blowing across much of Africa. Aids will take a toll on the continent. Dust storms will bring death. Many people will fall to famine. Food will be in very short supply.

The Pope, in preparation for his home going, will release a strong prophetic word. He has received a real visitation from Christ Jesus, and has an anointed message. Out of this message will come a real harvest of souls into the Kingdom of God.

Y2K is worse than we think. Each one should seek the Lord, for directions and understanding as to what they need to do. There is a great deal of information available on the Internet. (Run a search on y2k.) This will be a refining fire that will bring the Body of Christ together. (See Acts 4:32-33)

THE SKY IS FALLING! This is not some nursery rhyme. This deals with the activity of an asteroid and meteors. Revelation 6:13: "And the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"

Many will be saved from the "New Age" cults. They will be drawn to the true light when the evil light of their hearts is exposed. "If the light in you be darkness, how great is that darkness?" This is not a time to run from those in darkness, but rather, to run to them with the true light of the Gospel! Jesus declared us to be the, "Light of the World," and the Church is a, "City set on a hill, which cannot be hidden." It is a great time to let your LIGHT SHINE. (See Matthew 5:13-16)

A mighty move of God will continue to sweep across South America. There will be many dead raised as a testimony of the power of Jesus Christ. Great grace will be upon the SPANISH-SPEAKING nations for the miraculous.

Turkey will respond to the invitation of Jesus. The open-air theater in Ephesus will echo with the praises of God and these words, "Great is the Lord God Almighty." The Lord appeared as a gold prospector and said, "I’ve come to reclaim My claim. Turkey is MINE!"

Little things do mean a lot. Don’t despise the little things. Be faithful in the little and God will give you more. (See Luke 19:17) Really let this word encourage you, especially if you think you don’t have a lot.

here will be a serious blood shortage, but no shortage of blood. If the Church does not get back to the inner cities, blood will continue to flow in the streets.

The message of the Blood of the Lamb will be preached in power. Great grace will be upon this bold proclamation against the defilement of sin. Songs of the Blood of Jesus will come again to the Church. 1 Peter 1:18-19: "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold,... But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." Also in Revelation 1:5: "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead,... Unto him, that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood." Hidden Hate-groups - In Your Face

I saw many moles coming up out of the ground. They were blind and very ugly, and seemed to have a form of rabies. They were running all about trying to bite anyone they could come in contact with. I asked the Lord, "Who are these?" He said they are the underground groups that will surface, such as hate groups, radical paramilitary, Nazi, and etc. They will seek to make bold inroads into our schools and universities, seeking to rob these end-time warriors.

The lights will go out on Broadway, speaking of an end to the show biz ministry. It will pass off the stage.

Radical youth will take to the streets with the message of Christ Jesus. Heaven will give witness with signs and mighty wonders. (See Mark 16:17-20)

Sacred cows will be cursed this year. God will deal with our idolatry. Exodus 20:3-5: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing... that is in the earth beneath, ¼Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, not serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God."

God will bless the message of holiness. The youth will take up the banner and declare a new breed of purity from the heart. The radical youth will begin a fresh move of righteousness dealing with sex. They are going to become pure in heart and body. Parents will learn righteousness from them.

Waves of missionaries will come to America. We have cast our bread on the waters, now it will return.

Home life will be very precious. Fathers and mothers will get to know their children. Many will turn off their television and sit with their families telling their visions. This will be much more exciting than anything Hollywood could bring forth. This will be directed by the Holy Spirit – a "Holy-would." Many will see upcoming attractions in visions and dreams and trances.

This is a time of Malachi 3 - God is turning up the burner. This is a time of refining that will bring the Body together¼a melting together. Psalms 133:1-3: "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore." The words, "dwell together," make a very strong statement. The words mean to be melted into one - to be fused together to become one.

The sound of the Church will be "Charged with Change." A new sound and a new song are coming. The sound of "BELLS" and the sound of "TRUMPETS" will be heard through the entire Body of Christ from coast to coast and around the world.

The Heavens will display the fire of God. There will be signs in the heavens like the world has never before witnessed. Keep your eye looking toward heaven. You will see LIGHT AS NEVER BEFORE. An example of that occurred in Mobile Bay on Friday, August 24, 1998. In just one hour, more than 7,000 lightning strikes were recorded. I feel this was a prophetic sign from heaven giving testimony about the "Thunder in the Bay" meeting.

Brother will turn against brother. This will be fueled by a wicked spirit of competition. There will be a seeking of one’s own glory and a seeking of control. (See Matthew 24:10)

East Coast Outpouring

There will come an increase in the Winds of the Spirit all across the East Coast. This will be the year of the anointed TEACHER. Many will be anointed to teach the Word of God with anointing and power. The Holy Spirit will confirm what is being said with displays of the power of God. The waves of anointing will be released all along the East coast in a line from Miami, Florida all the way to St. John, Nova Scotia.

Many of God’s hidden men will begin to emerge during this year. Their faces will reflect the fact that their hearts have been with Jesus.

One thing that I was shown this year was that battle axes and balance scales were being released to the prophetic. I feel that this deals with the prophetic word helping to set into place the Government of God. This will be a time of the birthing of the Apostolic in today’s church.

I want to give you some of the prophetic events that occurred during this Shepherd’s Rod. Many times, what happens in the life of the prophet is the message that the Spirit of God is speaking. The man and what transpires with him is the message. We can see this many times in the Old Testament as God unfolded His plan. With this in mind, I will share some of these events.

At 10:00PM I was sitting in my chair when suddenly my right eye felt like it had something irritating it. It was burning and watering so I got a magnifying mirror and looked in it but found nothing in my eye. But what I did see was oil forming in drops in and on my right ear. Just as I saw the oil in my ear, my eye stopped hurting and my vision was restored. I feel the Lord is saying that HE is going to affect our vision in order to affect our hearing. It is going to be very important during these days of transition to be able to clearly hear the voice of the LORD. It is crucial to understand that the number 10 in the scriptures speak of Law, order, testing and trial. This is what God is about to release upon the earth. It is important to understand the message of the magnifying mirror. The Word of God is described as a mirror which speaks of the word of God studying our lives and ‘to magnify’ deals with our close study of the Word of God. James 1:22-25: "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does."

During this event, the anointing was upon my ear. This deals with hearing more than just seeing. This is one reason, during these end times, the devil will be able to deceive many people with lying signs and wonders. We must have a clear ear to hear what God is saying. The message will deal with hearing God more than just seeing miracles. Proverbs 20:12: "The hearing ear, and the seeing eye the Lord hath made even both of them."

The next event that happened to me was that I suddenly had pressure on my forehead. It was as if a very hot hand was being pressed against my forehead directly above my eyes. I feel that this is a sign of the Lord’s marking or branding upon the foreheads of His servants. Additionally, the Lord is giving His prophets a tender heart but a hard head. The Lord said, "You will need my rest and peace upon you to make it through the things that are coming."

My little travel clock was sitting on the bed table when suddenly it began to tick so loudly that it sounded as if someone was striking an anvil with a hammer. I looked and the time was 11:00PM. This was strange because the actual time was only 10:30PM. The Lord said, "Oh no! It is much later than you think!" He said it is the 11^th hour. This is speaking of time being very short, and that the time of the end-time judgments being upon us. The Lord said this stood for Psalm 11:1-7: "In the LORD I take refuge. How then can you say to me: "Flee like a bird to your mountain." For look, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart. When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do? The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes the sons of men; his eyes examine them. The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence his soul hates. On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face." (NIV)

I saw a friend of mine who is a very famous Country singer. He was looking out toward the horizon and had a puzzled look on his face. Then the hand of the Father reached down ever so gently and lifted his face toward heaven. My friend’s hair began to grow very fast. It was a beautiful gold-brown color and grew very fast, covering his face. Then a strong wind came and blew his hair back and I could see and hear that he had a "Mouth Harp" and he was playing a beautiful song – "Amazing Grace." This was a version of Amazing Grace like I had never heard before - it was something out of this world. Suddenly, he was joined by a great host of others and all of them had Mouth Harps, but, they were called the "Juice Harp Band." I feel this change to "Juice" deals with the coming anointing and grace upon the anointed singers. The Spirit of the Lord longs to release the sound and the song of the Lord. Get ready, for new sounds are coming to the Church.

A Visitor awakened me in my room. I believe this was the LORD JESUS HIMSELF! He was standing on my left side, dressed in a beautiful purple and shiny white silk garment. In HIS hand He had a brown sheep skin scroll. He unrolled the scroll and shook it out over me. It unrolled very fast with a loud sound. The sound had power in it. The sound went into me, and electrified or charged me and the room was filled with a heat. Without speaking a word, He had somehow filled my spirit with revelation. Then He nodded His head toward a wall. This had deep meaning for me because it was in this very place on November 11, 1996 that I had a very strong visitation from the Lord. During that visitation, HE changed the wall into a map of the entire world and showed me different places where He would do things. Also, I knew that in this nod of His head He was telling me to go to the top of the mountain. I have had many different encounters with the Lord in this Mountain. With a smile, which caused HIS face to radiate with the deepest compassion, He was gone. Yet I knew that he had spoken a great deal.

He indicated to me that the time He appeared was 1:30AM sharp, which deals with Psalm 130. This Psalm deals with the Promise that the Lord Hears Our Prayers! Psalm 130:1-8: "Out of the depths I have cried to Thee, O LORD. Lord, hear my voice! Let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. If Thou, LORD, shouldst mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with Thee, that Thou mayest be feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, and in His word do I hope. My soul {waits} for the Lord more than the watchmen for the morning; {indeed, more than} the watchmen for the morning. O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is loving-kindness, and with Him is abundant redemption. And He will redeem Israel from all his iniquities."

The colors of HIS GARMENTS are a deep, beautiful purple and a shining white. The deep, beautiful purple is a mixture of red and blue. The color purple speaks of Christ’s Royalty and His Kingship. Red speaks of His Blood and blue speaks of Revelation. (See Exodus 25:4, Mark 15:17 & John 19:2) The shining white speaks of Purity and Holiness. The white robe of righteousness and the priestly garments all deal with His Office of High Priest. Additionally, the nod of HIS HEAD speaks of Direction and Government.

The color brown is important. It speaks of servanthood. The scroll was rolled very tight, which speaks of revelation that has been in the Lord’s hands, yet not to be released until NOW. The scroll was very soft. This speaks of the tender mercy of the Lord, for even in judgment He is full of mercy. The sound was a sharp snap! It had a penetrating force that pushed the sound deep into my innermost being. This was an anointing and commissioning giving a fresh release of revelation and understanding.

The scroll being unrolled speaks of released revelation. There is an unsealing of things that have been shut up, but are now being released. Daniel 12:4: "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." Daniel 12:9: "¼for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end."

A Time of Real Power
This Power Is For A Real Purpose
See Acts 1:8 & Acts 10:38

This is a time of released revelation and revealed power unlike the Church in these days has seen. The Kingdom of God is not just of talk but power. (See 1 Corinthians 4:20 & 1 Thessalonians 1:5) The Church will soon find out that the gifts of the Spirit of God are tools - not toys. This power will be for a purpose. The Holy Spirit is about to release power to an obedient people like we have not yet seen. This power is for a reason. We must do the works of Jesus. (John 14:12) Jesus said that as He was sent, so now He is sending His followers. (John 20:20-21) This anointing of power for purpose is only given to them that obey. (Luke 24:49 & Acts 2:1-3) We must become who we are--Ambassadors of Christ. The word ambassador deals with real authority. Paul informs us about our high and heavenly calling in 2 Corinthians 5:17-20: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God." Notice the word ambassadors. This is a strong word. It means to be a senior representative sent out with power, i.e., the same authority and power as the one who sent him. The Church can no longer walk in self-imposed amnesia. We must have clear understanding of just who we are and what we are to be doing.

The Lord is offering the Body of Christ an invitation none can afford to turn down. This invitation is in Revelations 4:1. Notice the first words, "After this¼" What does this statement mean? After what? The "after this" is referring to what happened just before it.

This is very important. We can’t answer the invitation to come up here until first we have dealt with Revelations 3:20-22.

The invitation is found in Revelations 3:20-4:2: "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne."

1. The Knocking. This speaks of the Lord getting our undivided attention.
2. Hearing HIS VOICE.
3. Opening the door for the Lord of Glory to enter into the last days Church.
4. The Fellowship meal with Jesus in which He consumes us and we consume Him.
5. We get to sit with HIM upon HIS throne, which speaks of true authority.

It is this end-time Church that opens wide the door to Jesus that HE invites to, "come up here!" We will be able to see things from His perspective and not just from ours.

The Verse is Nahum 1:7: "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him."

The Answer is--we can anticipate a time of sweeping change. Life as we have known it is about to be drastically rearranged. The Lord said Y2K will be much worse than we know. I was promised that the prophetic would be given instructions on how to help the people prepare. Also, this time of trouble will drive the Church to the Lord and to one another. The Lord also rebuked me for the prophetic voices wasting so much of the time of the Joseph generation. I was given a strong visitation from the Lord concerning the fact that this lack of preparation was the fault of the sleeping prophetic and was given Jonah as an example. The prophetic voices have been too timid and have failed to warn the Church of these coming days. Once again, as in Jonah’s day, the wicked have been used to awaken the runaway prophet and challenge him to seek his God.

THE CHURCH IS ASLEEP BECAUSE THE PROPHETS HAVE BEEN RUNNING AWAY FROM
THE RESPONSIBILITY OF RELEASING A STRONG MESSAGE!

The Body of Christ is asleep because the prophetic has been asleep. We are guilty of running away from the responsibility of releasing a strong message. The political spirit and the man-pleasing spirit have done a good job of robbing the end-time Church of its desperately needed revelation. One main reason for this lack of awareness is due to the results of the prophetic voice attempting to run away from the message of judgment. I was shown Jonah, the prophet, as a type of the weak prophetic voice that was too timid to follow the will of God. It is so sad to see that God had to use a representative of the world to awaken this rebelling, run away, sleeping prophet. Jonah 1:6: "The captain went to him and said, "How can you sleep? Get up and call on your god! Maybe he will take notice of us, and we will not perish." (NIV)

The meaning of his name according to Strong’s Concordance #3124 is the Hebrew word Yonah or Jonah, which means, "dove." This speaks of being gentle. He was a son of Amittai and a native of Gath-hepher. His father’s name, "Amittay," means "my truth." The place Jonah is from means, "God ensnares," which speaks of the fact that we cannot run away from God!

We see the prophetic (the son of the truth, hidden away and asleep - the dove, which speaks of timid,) running away from the strong message he was called to present. He ran away to Tarshish, which means, "yellow jasper." Yellow is the color of timidity. It is a city of the Phoenicians in a distant part of the Mediterranean Sea. Tarshish is more than five hundred miles away, but as Jonah learned, we can’t run from the All-Seeing Eyes of God. Jonah was about to find out the truth of Psalms 139:1-12: "O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee."

The scriptures tell us that Jonah went down to Joppa, which means "beautiful." It is a town on the southwest coast of Palestine. If you study the path of Jonah, every step away from the will of God was a step downward. Down to Joppa, down into a ship going down to Tarshish. Then down into the sea, then down into the belly of a whale. The song penned so many years ago is so true for our day. "¼Trust and obey, for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey."

There is a sad situation occurring when the wicked have to awaken the sleeping prophet. The prophetic allowed the Church to sleep through what I call the "Joseph generation." This was a time of plenty, when we should have been making provisions for the coming time. It was the role and responsibility of the true prophetic voice to give insight and understanding during these years of the fat cows, because we are soon coming to the time of the skinny cows. Yet we played religious politics and failed to fulfill our role of giving direction and understanding of the times. Now, as never before, the prophetic mantle must be restored to the Church and the prophetic anointing must flow and function. The Church will be asked some very hard questions in the days to come and we better have some straight answers. This is not a time to beat around the bush. We need to know what we believe and be ready to give an answer. Those who seek The LORD will find HIM and the Spirit of Truth will release a fresh anointing for the sons of Issachar. These sons of Issachar were men who had understanding of the times and knew what the Children of God were to be doing. (See 1 Chronicles 12:32) When trumpets are blown, they must make a sure sound. If the army of God is going to be mobilized, it will be as the prophetic voice begins to sound a clear trumpet call.

It is most important that you have an open ear to hear what the Spirit is saying. This is one of the most repeated statements made by the Master - Mark 4:9: "Then Jesus said, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear." (NIV) Ask the Spirit of God to open your ears to hear Him as never before. This is not a time to be in the dark. We are called Children of Light. It is a time to walk in the Light as HE IS IN THE LIGHT. 1 John 1:5-7: "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." (NIV)

We must walk and work in the Light while we can. Pay close attention to this warning from Jesus. John 12:35-36: "Then Jesus told them, "You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. The man who walks in the dark does not know where he is going. Put your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of light." When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them."

Paul declares the same warning in Romans 13:11-14: "And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts."

This will be a time of Light and darkness at the same moment. What will make the difference is our walk with Christ Jesus. It is imperative that we hear and heed HIS voice and follow HIM, BECAUSE HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS WHERE WE ARE GOING! John 10:3-5: "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers."

I was given the example of the hand of the Lord coming upon the heads of the prophets, found in Ezekiel 8. They are going to be obedient to prophesy as they are commanded . . . this is what will produce a shaking and an awakening. We can get ready to see the hand of God once again put upon the head of the prophetic. There is a strong lesson for us to hear and heed in the prophetic experience recorded in Ezekiel 8:1-18: "In the sixth year, in the sixth month on the fifth day, while I was sitting in my house and the elders of Judah were sitting before me, the hand of the Sovereign LORD came upon me there." Notice when this experience happened to Ezekiel, it was in the sixth year, in the sixth month, but on the fifth day. Six is the number of man and five is the number of grace. It is very encouraging to know that God’s grace is about to come upon the work of man. Again, notice when this event takes place; as he was sitting in his house and the leadership of Judah had come to see him. The leaders had set out to seek out the prophetic. This always gets the attention of God. Vs.2: "I looked, and I saw a figure like that of a man. From what appeared to be his waist down he was like fire, and from there up his appearance was as bright as glowing metal." (NIV)

While staying with Ezekiel 8:2, read the description of the Ruling, Reigning and Resurrected Redeemer given by John in Revelation 1:12-16. You have to be assured that this is the Lord Jesus. Look at John’s description of this encounter. "And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength."

Now, let’s return to this prophetic experience of Ezekiel the prophet. Notice what the Lord did. Vs.3: "He stretched out what looked like a hand and took me by the hair of my head." It is very important to notice that the Spirit took Ezekiel by his hair, for hair is always a symbol of man’s strength and glory. "The Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven." Again, it is important to notice that the Spirit lifted him up. That is what must happen. The prophetic must go higher. We must be caught up by the Spirit of the Lord to see the things that He is revealing. Ezekiel reports that, "¼in visions of God he took me to Jerusalem, to the entrance to the north gate of the inner court, where the idol that provokes to jealousy stood. And there before me was the glory of the God of Israel, as in the vision I had seen in the plain. Then he said to me, "Son of man, look toward the north." So I looked, and in the entrance north of the gate of the altar I saw this idol of jealousy." (NIV)

In the vision, Ezekiel saw the reproach of Israel - and that was the image of jealousy, set northward, at the gate of the altar. What this image was is uncertain. God did not tell us for sure what it was, but it probably was an image of Baal or of the grove that Manasseh made and set in the temple. (See 2 Kings 21:7 & 2 Chronicles 33:3) This idol could be anything that comes between you and your true devotion to God. Notice where this idol was set up - at the very entrance to the gate. Whatever image it was, it was very offensive to God and provoked Him to jealousy. He resented it as a husband would resent the whoredoms of his wife and would certainly take revenge for it; for God is jealous and the Lord revenges. (See Nahum 1:2)

We will do well to remember the warning found in Deuteronomy 5:9: "¼for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God,¼" This idolatry was an up front attack against God. Those that placed this image at the door of the inner gate, where the people assembled, at the very entrance called "the gate of the altar" (Vs. 5), thereby plainly intended to insult God and to provoke Him to His face. Placing this idol to be a competitor with Him for the adoration of His people was clearly in contempt of His Law and in disregard of His Justice. Solomon had warned of such a thing in Proverbs 9:14-16. The adulteress that Solomon describes, that sits at the door of her house, "to call passengers who go right on their ways: Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither." It is easy to imagine what dismay and what anguish this brought to Ezekiel to see this image in the house of God. It is time for judgement to begin at the house of God. (See 1 Peter 4:17)

Ezekiel 8:6: "And he said to me, "Son of man, do you see what they are doing-- the utterly detestable things the house of Israel is doing here, things that will drive me far from my sanctuary?" The Lord is about to cause covered sins to be exposed. This judgement will start at the very House of God. Vs. 6-9: "But you will see things that are even more detestable. Then he brought me to the entrance to the court. I looked, and I saw a hole in the wall. He said to me, "Son of man, now dig into the wall." So I dug into the wall and saw a doorway there. And he said to me, "Go in and see the wicked and detestable things they are doing here." God is about to uncover what man has been busy covering up. Vs. 10-11: "So I went in and looked, and I saw portrayed all over the walls all kinds of crawling things and detestable animals and all the idols of the house of Israel. In front of them stood seventy elders of the house of Israel, and Jaazaniah son of Shaphan was standing among them." Jaazaniah means "God hears." His father’s name means "rabbit or one that hides in the earth." These two men represent a type, which describe that the prophetic intercessors, which were hidden away, were distracted and side tracked by idolatry and sin. "Each had a censer in his hand, and a fragrant cloud of incense was rising." Vs.12: "He said to me, "Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his own idol?" The greatest sin that the people of God were committing was not worshiping idols - it was that they were accusing God in their hearts. Vs.12: "They say, "The LORD does not see us; the LORD has forsaken the land." This is why we must hear the promise of Nahum 1:7: "The Lord is good." Vs.13&14: "The Lord said again, "You will see them doing things that are even more detestable. "Then he brought me to the entrance to the north gate of the house of the LORD, and I saw women sitting there, mourning for Tammuz." Tammuz was a wicked idol of fertility called the "sprout of life." Vs.15&16: "He said to me, "Do you see this, son of man? You will see things that are even more detestable than this. "He then brought me into the inner court of the house of the LORD, and there at the entrance to the temple, between the portico and the altar, were about twenty-five men. With their backs toward the temple of the LORD and their faces toward the east, they were bowing down to the sun in the east." There will be in our day the same such turning away from the True God to the mystical mid-eastern false religion. Vs.17: "He said to me, "Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a trivial matter for the house of Judah to do the detestable things they are doing here? Must they also fill the land with violence and continually provoke me to anger? Look at them putting the branch to their nose!" This deals with an open contempt for God. It is a mockery of His power and presence. Vs.18: "Therefore I will deal with them in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them." (NIV) I have a strong warning from the Lord; He will not tolerate our sins any longer. It is time to repent and turn from our wicked ways. We must seek His mercy.

This is a time when the Spirit of God will awaken the Prophetic Voice to wake up the people. I know that this coming shaking and awakening will be associated directly with the prophetic. I was given Ezekiel 37:1-10: "The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army."

God does not want us to be caught by surprise. It is time to awaken from this sleep that we have been in. Romans 13:11-14: "And this {do,} knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. The night is almost gone, and the day is at hand. Let us therefore lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to {its} lusts." (NAS)

The Apostle Paul gives the Church instruction for these evil last days in Ephesians 5:14-18: "Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;"

Isaiah 60:1-4: "Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth, and deep darkness the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear upon you. And nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes round about, and see; they all gather together, they come to you. Your sons will come from afar, and your daughters will be carried in the arms."

This will be a time of light and night at the same moment. (See Isaiah 21:11-12)

The Same Manifesting of God’s Power and Presence will Produce Two Different Results

Exodus 14:19-20: "Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel's army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long."

False prophets will speak to the Soul of Man. False prophecy will say what the mind, will and emotions of a man wants to hear. This is often a much smoother message than the true prophetic. Plus, many times it is delivered in a much more palatable manner. People are often more ready to believe a lie than to hear the TRUTH. 2 Timothy 4:3: "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine: but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

The true Prophetic Voices will speak to the Spirit of God within Man. Proverbs 20:27: "The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly." Look at this verse again in the Amplified Bible: "The spirit of man {that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God} is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts." (Amplified) I thank God that we can claim the promise found in Psalm 18:28: "For thou will light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness."

This year the heavens will declare that this will be an unprecedented time of Light. The true prophetic will be given power and authority over the elements. It is time for the Church to begin to control the weather. One example would be found in Joshua 10:12-13: "¼Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel: "O sun, stand still over Gibeon, O moon, over the Valley of Aijalon." So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies,¼" (NAS)

This is the time to wake up and hear the prophetic message of warning. Just as God warned Nineveh in the past, He is warning our world today. It is time to seek the Lord until He comes and rains His righteousness upon us. (Hosea 10:12) Hear the message from the prophet Nahum. Nahum 1:1-8: "The oracle of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite. A jealous and avenging God is the LORD; the LORD is avenging and wrathful. The LORD takes vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserves wrath for His enemies. The LORD is slow to anger and great in power, and the LORD will by no means leave {the guilty} unpunished. In whirlwind and storm is His way, and clouds are the dust beneath His feet. He rebukes the sea and makes it dry; He dries up all the rivers. Bashan and Carmel wither; the blossoms of Lebanon wither. Mountains quake because of Him, and the hills dissolve; indeed the earth is up heaved by His presence, the world and all the inhabitants in it. Who can stand before His indignation? Who can endure the burning of His anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken up by Him. The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who take refuge in Him. But with an overflowing flood He will make a complete end of its site, and will pursue His enemies into darkness." (NAS)

Nahum’s name is important in that he had a hard message, yet his spirit was one of comfort. His name means "comfort." He was an unknown prophet. This is something God is about to do again - bringing men and women who have not yet been heard from to the front lines with a real message.

He was an "Elkoshite." The name means "God the ensnarer." That reminds us that we must answer to God. Returning to the Scripture verses of Nahum 1, we can see that God is about to shake much of what man has been placing his confidence in. The next place the judgement hand of God is seen is Carmel, which means "garden-land."

The devil will attempt to accuse God as he did in Genesis 3:1-5. When these judgments come, we must remember that God has repeatedly warned us, seeking to get His people to turn from sin and come back to HIM. We must have confidence in the goodness of God. He is a loving Father and He longs to bless His people. This fact must be deep within our soul – God is Good!

Nahum 1:7: "The Lord is good, a Strength and Stronghold in the day of trouble: He knows, {recognizes, has knowledge of, and understands} those who take refuge and trust in Him." Amplified)

Please take time to get the following precious promises deep into your spirit. We are going to need to know the Word of God.

Psalm 25:8-11: "Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant. For the sake of your name, O LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great." (NIV)

This is a time to fill our soul with the Word of God. The promises of God are true and faithful. God will never mislead His people. Take time to hide the Word of God in your heart. The scripture states, "Thy WORD have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against THEE!"

This is a time to hide the Word of God in our souls. Psalm 19:7-8: "The Law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart. The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes."

Let the High Praises of God Fill Our Hearts – Let Songs of His Goodness Fill Our Soul

Ezra 3:11: "With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the LORD: "He is good; his love to Israel endures forever." And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid." (NIV)

Psalm 100:1-5: "Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." (NIV)

This will be a time of praise and thanksgiving for the goodness of God. This generation will move to a new level of praise and worship. The angels of Heaven will join in as we worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Expect to see manifestations of these divine hosts of Heaven as they join in our worship. (See Luke 2:13-14)

Psalm 18:1-3: "I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies." (NIV)
The Lord is a sure foundation. If we build our life upon Him and His Word, our spiritual house will stand during the coming storms. (See Matthew 7:24)

Psalm 27:5: "For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock." (NIV)

Psalm 62:5-8: "Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. Psalm 91:1-9: "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling--even the LORD, who is my refuge--" (NIV)

During these days nothing will be more important than hearing the Word of The Lord. Man shall not live by bread alone, but, man shall live by hearing the Word that comes from the mouth of God. It is my prayer that you will take time to study this prophetic warning and prepare to encounter God on a new level. We are in the Kingdom of God for such a time as this; and the Kingdom of God is in us for such a time as this. This is not a time to draw back or feel defeated. These are going to be the finest hours for the Body of Christ. Jesus will have a Bride without spot or wrinkle. He will have a powerful overcoming Church.
